a) User data:

– Apple User ID (hashed), login times, registration date
– Device name, OS, screen size, Lidar (yes/no)
– Active subscription, token, name and email (if shared)

b) Scan data:

– Images, GPS data (if shared), scan point count, compass data

c) Events/Ratings:

– Ratings (scan ID, Apple User ID), point-related actions

3. Purpose:

Providing and optimizing app functionality

4. Legal basis:

GDPR Art. 6 (1) (a), (b), (f)

5. Storage and deletion:

Deletion possible upon user request via the app (irreversible)

6. Hosting & data processing:

Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany), data processing agreement exists

7. Data sharing:

None. Apple may process its own data (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/)

8. User rights:

Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal

9. Supervisory authority:

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority

10. Changes:

This policy may change due to technical updates

11. Retention Period:

The data is stored in accordance with legal retention periods and will be deleted after the expiration of the retention period, unless you have consented to further processing and use.

12. Security of Data Processing:

To protect your personal data, we implement technical and organizational security measures. Where possible, data is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access.

Art. 25 Abs. 1 DSGVO requires „data protection by design and by default.“ This means that we implement security measures in both software and hardware. If necessary, we will explain these measures in the following sections.

TLS Encryption with HTTPS:

We secure data transmission using HTTPS and TLS (Transport Layer Security) to protect personal data from unauthorized access. This ensures compliance with data protection requirements under Art. 25 Abs. 1 DSGVO The encrypted connection can be recognized by the lock symbol in the browser bar and the „https“ prefix in the URL.
